CPD Programme

Full and flexible CPD programme with courses designed specifically for members working in industry.

It is the objective of CPA Ireland to be at the forefront of Accountancy CPD and to provide a flexible, supportive and bespoke Training and Development Programme.
At CPA Ireland we provide a suite of Continuing Professional Development courses for qualified accountants aimed at Connecting their Learning to their Future

The CPD programme is developed based on member input through a Training Needs Analysis Survey and feedback forms at every course. We continue to provide a highly relevant, supportive and flexible CPD Programme year on year that is available through a variety of learning channels including:
- Classroom Courses
- Conferences
- Further Learning Courses & Diplomas
- Live Streaming
- Webinars
- Text Based online courses

In order to offer the most up to date learning environment and medium for our members CPA Ireland has launched a Learning Management System and developed Live Streaming Capabilities. Members who work in SMEs don’t always have the time to leave the office and attend CPD events, by offering courses online, both live and recorded, we are providing multiple opportunities for SMEs to upskill their staff.

Changes to My CPA
We have recently updated the CPD section of your My CPA pages to make your CPD journey easier. You now have the option to select which courses you which to be contacted about which will decrease the number of emails you receive from CPA Ireland and enable us to provide you with a more personal and interactive service.

The CPD returns section has also been updated and is now a more intuitive, easy to use application. Please note that once you have completed your CPD Return for the previous year it will be called the ‘CPD Activity Log’. We would recommend that you update your CPD Activity log throughout the year leaving you with less work to do at year end. If you have any queries on the CPD Return please contact Jenny Conmy, jconmy@cpaireland.ie / 01 425 1031

In-House Training
CPA Ireland would be delighted to assist you with any in house training needs. We can provide the knowledge to help you design a programme specifically for your staff and an expert to deliver the training. For further information contact Colm Murphy, cnmurphy@cpaireland.ie / 01 425 1030

For those members working in companies that provide continuous development, you are entitled to claim in house training as CPD with CPA Ireland provided they meet the conditions outlined in the CPD Guidelines.
