CPA Ireland announce online exams and remote invigilation for August 2020 Examination sitting

CPA Ireland are pleased to announce that the August 2020 Examinations will be held in an online environment and will be subject to remote invigilation. Over the course of the past few months, we have been working with a new partner TestReach who are an industry leader in both online assessment and remote invigilation. Through this collaboration all Formation 2, Professional 1 and Professional 2 examinations will be held in this format in August 2020.

With the health and safety of our students uppermost in our minds, we needed to take this innovative action to provide certainty for our students to enable them to progress through their qualification.

The flexibility and convenience allows students to sit the CPA Ireland examinations on a PC or laptop at a suitable location of their choice, whether it be from home or office.

The format of the examinations will remain the same – the original paper-based examinations will be transferred to an online environment.  Instead of writing answers using pen and paper, candidates will answer by entering data on a keyboard.
