  • Small Business Assistance Scheme for Covid (SBASC)

    Purpose
    To provide grants to businesses who were not eligible for the Government’s Covid Restrictions Support Scheme (CRSS), the Fáilte Ireland Business Continuity grant or other direct sectoral grant schemes. This scheme aims to help businesses with their fixed costs, for example, rent, utility bills, security
     
    Eligibility
    • Companies, self-employed, sole traders or partnerships with a minimum turnover of €50,000 and 250 employees or less
    • Must be in receipt of a rates bill from their local authority for business which operates from a building, or similar fixed physical structure on which business rates are payable
    • The turnover of the business over the claim period is estimated to be no more than 25% of the average weekly turnover of the business in 2019 or the projected average weekly turnover of the business for 1st January to 30th June 2021 for businesses that commenced after 1st November 2019
    • Business must intend to resume trading in full once Government restrictions are eased
     
    Funding
     
    A grant of €4,000 for the first quarter of 2021. A decision on the grant available for the second quarter of 2021 will be made in due course.
     
    How to apply
     
    Applications should be made through your local authority. The closing date for receipt of applications for phase 1 of the SBASC is 21 April 2021.

  • Enterprise Support Grant

    Purpose
    A grant to assist eligible self-employed recipients with the costs of re-opening their business which was closed as a result of Covid-19
     
    Eligibility
    • Self-employed individuals not liable to commercial rates
    • Must have closed a claim for the Pandemic Unemployment Payment (PUP) on or after 18 May 2020
    • Less than 10 employees
    • Annual turnover of less than €1 million
    • Tax and PRSI compliant
    • Ineligible for the Covid-19 Business Restart Grant or similar grants from other government departments

  • Covid-19 Business Financial Planning Grant

    Enterprise Ireland
     
    Purpose
    A grant to assist with the costs of engaging an approved external consultant to prepare a detailed financial and business plan in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.
     
    Eligibility
    Clients of
    • Enterprise Ireland
    • Údarás na Gaeltachta
    • IDA Ireland
    • Domestically focused non-EI clients manufacturing or internationally traded services companies that employ 10 or more full time employees
     
    Key Terms
    • Companies need a positive de minimis balance to cover the approved grant (self-certified)
    • Ineligible costs include expenditure incurred prior to the date of the application, consultant expenses, sales related expenses, trade fair participation costs and internal costs of the company (e.g. salaries and overheads)
    • Application must include the name of an approved consultant (see directory of consultants)
    Receipts of other grant funding from Enterprise Ireland may impact eligibility under the scheme.

  • Trading online voucher

    Purpose
    A voucher to assist small businesses with up to 10 employees to trade more online, boost sales and reach new markets. 
     
    Eligibility
    • Limited or no e-commerce presence
    • 10 or less employees
    • Turnover of less than €2 million
    • Trading for a least 6 months
     
    Funding
    Up to €2,500 with co-funding of 50% from the eligible business
