CPA Ireland may authorise practising members to conduct investment business that is incidental to their practice business.

The Investment Business Regulations applicable to Investment Intermediaries are outlined in Bye Law 14.

Qualification under the Central Bank’s Minimum Competency Code

Members who wish to obtain a qualification that meets the Central Bank’s Minimum Competency Code may be interested in LIA’s APA & QFA designations.

Investment Business Annual Return

As a CPA regulated Investment Business Firm you must complete online an Investment Business Annual Renewal by February 28th each year, this is to facilitate a timely renewal of  your investment business authorisation for the year 1st April  - 31st  March.

We also remind you that your firms Annual Return must also be completed by the 28th February to ensure the renewal of your practising certificate (and auditing certificate) where applicable.
