DR. BRIAN BYRNE -

Dr. Brian Byrne lectures at the Technological University Dublin (TUD), Aungier Street campus. He is published in the areas of Financial Derivatives, Lattice Modelling and Bank Regulation. The main focus of his research is geared towards numerical techniques for pricing American options and Employee Stock Options. He also has authored a number of papers in Banking Regulation. He currently supervises 2 Phd students in the area of Derivatives Pricing and Bank Fines. He is currently developing, in conjunction with international partners, an Erasmus + SME hub for Data Analytics for Small Business. Brian teaches in the area of Derivatives models, Fixed Income, Financial Institutions and Data Science.
He is the Director of the successful Masters of Finance programme at the Technology University Dublin, Aungier Street campus, visiting adjunct Professor to the Finance University Moscow and extern examiner to the Institute of Bankers.
