A few weeks ago it was announced that the government is set to legislate to give employees the right to request remote working as part of a National Remote Working Strategy, ‘Making Remote Work’.
This new legislation will be introduced by the end of September 2021 and accountancy trainees will need to be confident working remotely and have the necessary skills to undertake their daily tasks without direct supervision.
