Admission to Membership 2024

 

Important information about the deadlines and application process for students eligible to apply for membership in 2024.


The application to membership process will be managed over two cohorts. This is to enable the Institute to manage the applications in a timely manner and to ensure that all applicants get the support required for their application. Please read below to find out which Cohort is relevant for you.  

Cohort 1 

This Cohort includes all students who completed their final exams from 2021 up to and including the August 2023 exam sitting and who are verified as “Training Complete” 

“Training Complete” means that all required training has been logged and submitted, and the Institute has confirmed that the student has complied with all training requirements.  

Invitations to apply for membership will be issued to Cohort 1 applicants during the week commencing 29 April. The closing date for completed Application to Membership for students in Cohort 1 will be Friday 24 May 2024. No late applications will be accepted. 

If you believe you are currently eligible to apply for membership but do not receive a formal invitation during the week commencing 29 April, please contact the Institute (rniaonghusa@cpaireland.ie

Cohort 2 

This Cohort includes students who complete their final exams in April 2024 and who are verified as “Training Complete” at that time. 

[Please note, Cohort 2 may also include some students who are required to log their Q1 and Q2 2024 Training Records, in order to complete their training.] 

Invitations to apply for membership will be issued after the results of the April 2024 examinations have been released on 14 June 2024. Closing date for Application to Membership for students in Cohort 2 will be 12 July 2024.

Application Process

The following must be submitted as part of the Application to Membership: 

  1. Application Form (online

  1. Two Employer References on company headed paper 

  1. 4 Competency Statements (online via MyCPA) 

  1. 3 Behavioural Attribute Statements (online via MyCPA) 

  1. Admission Fee: €650. Click here to pay 

 

Students who are eligible to apply for membership are encouraged to begin the process as early as possible.
