Using your updated Membership ID 

We’re pleased to confirm that the integration of CPA Ireland and Chartered Accountants Ireland is now complete. 

Your account is available from 9am, Monday 29 June 2026. 

You should have received an email today (Monday 29 June) with your updated Membership ID. 
Your new Membership ID is your existing CPA ID with “20” added to the beginning. 

 

Get started 

First-time login 

To access your account for the first time: 

1. Go to the login page 

2. Select “Forgot password” 

3. Enter your updated Membership ID 

4. Follow the instructions in the email issued from no-reply@charteredaccountants.ie  

5. Log in using your updated Membership ID and new password 

Next time you log in 

Once you’ve set your password, simply log in using: 

• Your Membership ID 

• Your new password

Key information 

• Your designation and standing remain unchanged 

• Your account information is now available in the new system
