Central Bank of Ireland - Quarterly Bulletin COVID-19

In its second Quarterly Bulletin of 2020 the Central Bank of Ireland has stated that COVID-19 has triggered a severe economic shock different in nature and scope from the types of shocks previously witnessed. In the Bulletin, while noting that given the extent of the unknowns it is not possible to produce a conventional forecast of the outlook, it predicts that GDP could decline by 8.3 percent in 2020.
