The Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG) wishes to recruit suitably qualified applicants to the position of Auditor.
The role of the Office is to audit on behalf of the State, all accounts of moneys administered by or under the authority of the Oireachtas and, through his Comptroller function, to control all disbursements from the Exchequer.
These are full-time, competitively remunerated positions which offer superb career opportunities.
Successful candidates will have:
• Full membership of a prescribed accountancy body supervised by the Irish Auditing and Accounting Supervisory Authority;
• At least one year’s auditing or evaluation experience including experience of modern auditing and accounting practice;
• Strong analytical and decision making skills with a planned and systematic approach to work.
