KEY BOOKING & COURSE DETAILS

Dates: September 2021 - early March, 2022
Locations: Dublin* (CPA Ireland, 17 Harcourt Street) & Online via Live Streaming
Delivery method: Classroom* & Online via Live Streaming
Standard Price of Course: €1,950 (Enrol before 30th June 2021 to avail of a 10% early Bird discount - a deposit of €500 must be paid by 30th June in order to avail of the early bird discount)
Individual Modules: booking for individual modules will be made available in summer 2021

* Please note that the availability of the in class option is very limited and is subject to Government advice on social distancing at the time of commencement. We may not be in a position to offer any in class option.

BOOKING OPTIONS

Please note places are limited and will be awarded on a first come first served basis. Priority will be given to those delegates who book the full course. Registration is not confirmed until a deposit of €500 has been paid.

No refunds will be permitted should a participant fail to complete the course.

Subject to availability, participants may book one or more individual modules for CPD purposes only. This option will be made available in summer 2021.

CPD REQUIREMENT

On successful completion of the course participants will be awarded the Certified Tax Adviser (CTax) Qualification Certificate. This Certificate may be renewed annually, based on the following renewal requirements:

  • Completion of a minimum of 5 hours tax related structured CPD, in the relevant year. These hours will form part of the holders overall CPD requirements.   
  • Payment of an annual Certificate renewal administration fee of €50.

COURSE FEES 

The course fee covers access to the online learning platform, where participants can view the full suite of recorded sessions online, as well as accessing notes, past exams and assignments.  Should a resit be required an additional fee will be chargeable.

Please note that fees do not include the Taxation Summary, Finance Act 2020, which is recommended reading for the course and the only book permitted into the open book exam at the end of the course.

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

Regrettably because we have already committed funds to the running of the course, it is not possible to refund fees for cancellations.

NO SHOWS

Where a delegate has booked and paid for an event in full and cannot attend on the day, this is regarded as a no show. While all course material can be posted to the intended delegate, structured CPD cannot be awarded.

ON THE DAY 

Pre-booking is essential to secure a place, otherwise places cannot be guaranteed on the day.

The Institute reserves the right to admit additional delegates to the course in the event that suitable space is available. Delegates are advised to ensure that they have registered with the event administrator on the day, for CPD accreditation purposes.  

CPD

The system records your attendance, if you have watched via live stream on the day you will be credited with the CPD hours.  If you are unable to attend live you have the facility to watch the recording of the lectures on Canvas.   
 
If you should fail to pass the assessment (assignment and exam), CPD will only be given to the time that was spent in the live training environment i.e. webinar/live stream/classroom.

IF WE CANCEL

In the event of the cancellation, our liability shall be limited to a refund of any fees paid. We reserve the right to cancel the programme at our discretion.

COURSE MATERIAL

Course material will be issued on the Learning Management System in the week prior to the course.  This material cannot be reproduced without prior permission of the CPA Institute. 

SPECIAL NEEDS

Delegates with special requirements should advise the Institute in advance, and we will be happy to assist.
