Course Content

The programme is delivered over 5 full-day modules spread over 4 months

 

MODULE 1:
LEADERSHIP:
STARTING THE JOURNEY WITHIN

  • Discovery of personal strengths

MODULE 2:
LEADERSHIP PRINCIPLES

  • Leading with meaning and ethical leadership
  • Power of persuasion 
  • Goal setting and decision making

MODULE 3:
POSITIVE LEADERSHIP
TRAINER: DR. STEPHEN J. COSTELLO

  • Elements of life and work satisfaction
  • Positive communication and constructive relationships
  • Performance management; Diversity and Organisational Behaviour

MODULE 4:
LEADERSHIP IN ACTION:
COOKING UP A STORM
TRAINER: BOB SEMPLE

  • Leadership in a practical setting
  • Planning and negotiating
  • Resilience and feedback 

MODULE 5:
LEADERSHIP IN ACTION:
GETTING RESULTS, LEARNING FROM EXPERIENCE
TRAINERS: BOB, JANE & STEPHEN

  • Planning and delivering impactful presentations 
  • Delivering winning feedback
  • Programme summary and wrap up

Exercises 

Delegates will be required to complete a Personal Action Plan, a Gratitude Diary and a Reflective Learning Journal.  Delegates will have to complete all parts of the programme and attend at least 4 of the 5 face to face sessions in order to receive the certificate of successful completion.
