Memorandum of Understanding between CPA Ireland and Lithuanian Chamber of Auditors
The Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland (CPA) and the Lithuanian Chamber of Auditors have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which will see both bodies offer service and support to each other’s members and collaborate on joint research, education, member body development and on other areas of mutual interest.

The LCA is a public legal entity unifying all certified auditors of Lithuania. In accordance with the Audit Law, the LCA has the following responsibilities: (i) administering the auditor qualification examination; (ii) issuing the auditor’s certificate; (iii) administering and monitoring of the continuing professional development program; (iv) maintaining the registry of certified auditors; (v) translation of international standards under the supervision of the Authority of Audit, Accounting, Property Valuation, and Insolvency Management (AAAPVIM); and (vi) establishing a quality assurance review system and an investigative and discipline system for registered auditors in cooperation with the AAAPVI
