CPA Ireland and the Arab Institute of Certified Public Accountants (IRAQ) Memorandum of Understanding
The Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland (CPA) and the Arab Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Iraq (ARICPA Iraq) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). ARICPA and CPA Ireland share common and strong interests in the advancement of the profession of accountancy, especially in relation to the maintenance and strengthening of professional and educational standards in all sectors, as well as the internationalisation of the profession. ARICPA and CPA Ireland wish to:
- Provide for recognition of their respective members prior qualifications;
- Provide membership services to each other’s members in their “home” locations;
Arab Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Iraq (ARICPA Iraq)
- Jointly undertake a range of activities and initiatives on the terms set out in the MOU agreement
The Arab Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Iraq (ARICPA Iraq) is responsible for the implementation of the professional accountancy qualification education programme and certification. ARICPA was established in Iraq in 1984 and obtained responsibility for certification from the Iraqi government in 1987. The institute’s area of specialisation covers international qualifications.
