The Cork Institute of Technology has been educating CPA students for over thirty years and has a respected reputation for its excellence, professionalism and its high education standards.

CIT is a CPA Ireland Goldstar Approved Educator in recognition of continually exceeding high standards of education delivery and commitment to student support. 

CIT has grown over the years to offer a number of accountancy programmes at undergraduate level and up through Masters and PhD and also at professional level. CIT undertake Accountancy research in the areas of ERP, shared services and the ever changing role of the accountant in modern organisations. CIT's Hincks Centre for Entrepreneurial Excellence are carrying out research for CPA Ireland on the “ Determinants of SME Growth in Ireland: How to identify and support them?”

CIT offers part-time evening courses in the CPA professional accountancy course from Formation 2 level to Professional 2 level, subject to demand.
