CPA Ireland Signs Memorandum of Understanding with CPA Bulgaria

CPA Ireland sign MOU with CPA Bulgaria

March 26th 2013: The Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland (CPA) and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Bulgaria (ICPA)have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which will see both bodies offer service and support to each others’ members and collaborate on joint research, education and on other areas of mutual interest.

The MOU was signed by CPA Ireland President Niall Byrne and CPA Bulgaria President Boyko Kostov and is effective immediately.
Eamonn Siggins, CEO, CPA said, “CPA Ireland is delighted to announce this partnership with CPA Bulgaria. We hope our organisations’ shared interests and goals will be  a foundation of a solid relationship for the future. Such partnerships can only strengthen the international accounting profession by establishing a link between two associations with a mutual interest in the highest professional standards.”
This is the latest addition to CPA Ireland’s international community, following on from the recent MRA with ICA Bangladesh and an MOU with CPA Sri Lanka. CPA Ireland has a number of international relationships with accountancy bodies in countries like Australia, Canada, India and South Africa.
