This report follows on from the success of the Entrepreneurship Reports in 2010 and 2012 and Weathering the Storm in 2014.
Irish SMEs can benefit from the existence of the large and successful base of multinational companies currently operating in this country. This base of companies offers a potentially very large “internal export market” to Irish SMEs wishing to supply products and services. It can also act as a testbed for Irish companies preparing to export to overseas markets.
Written by Barry McCall, the report features interviews with key representatives from a number of multinationals in relation to topics such a procurement, quality, production, financial management, human resource management, sales and marketing, customer service, IT, innovation, and sustainability.
