Brendan Howard

Brendan is Managing Director of Mercia Ireland Ltd & Mercia NI Ltd. He has worked in practice and financial services for over 25 years and has lectured extensively for various colleges and professional bodies.

He currently represents ACCA on the FRC Ireland Consultative Group, having previously been a member of the CCAB-I Insolvency panel, the Practice Note Committee for Credit Unions, and the Practice Note 21 Committee (which dealt with entities, such as insurance brokers, which are regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland).

Colm Divilly

Colm is Managing Director of Professional Education Seminars Ltd, a provider of compliance support and training services to Accounting firms throughout Ireland. A Chartered Accountant and graduate of the National University of ireland Galway, Colm has lectured extensively on CPD programmes, to final year accountancy students and to University undergraduates. Colm has a particular interest in fraud prevention and the application of International Standards on Auditing in the SME sector





Conor Kennedy

Conor Kennedy, BL, heads up the PwC Tax Dispute Resolution group and is a former member of the Law Library where he worked as a barrister specialising exclusively in tax law. He has represented clients through all stages of the tax litigation process from the Appeal Commissioners to the Supreme Court. His experience includes resolving disagreements with Revenue by holistically focusing on all aspects of law. 



Susan HayesCulleton

Susan HayesCulleton, CFA, has a BSc Financial Maths & Economics from NUI Galway. She is Managing Director of HayesCulleton and a professional speaker to audiences all over the world. Susan co-authored of “Positive Economics”, a Leaving Certificate Economics textbook and published “The Savvy Woman’s Guide to Financial Freedom” and “The Savvy Guide to Making More Money” with Penguin Ireland. She is founder of www.thepositiveeconomist.com blog.

Maureen Kelly

Maureen Kelly CPA, is Technical Services Executive of CPA Ireland. Maureen provides technical support to CPA members directly and through Institute publications. Maureen also contributes to the content of the Institute’s ongoing Continuing Professional Education programme and runs the Certified Tax Adviser (CTax) courses. Maureen was instrumental in the provision of CPA Ireland Skillnet's Certificate in the Companies Act 2014 this year. 



Graham Merriman

Graham Merriman is Managing Director of Carrickane Consulting, a Dublin based consultancy focused on supporting businesses to develop their online sales and a lecturer in eCommerce at UCD Smurfit School of Business and DCU Business School. He also works with a number of start-ups, which have attracted significant investments in recent years.

Graham has worked with a number global FMCG brands, supporting the development of their eCommerce strategies. He is an Enterprise Ireland Mentor, where he supports companies in their online engagement.

Previously Graham worked for Philips Consumer Lifestyle Division, where he was Global Director of Online Sales, with responsibility for developing Philips online sales of €500m.

Keith Rooney

Keith Rooney is a practising barrister at the Law Library in Dublin. Keith specialises in debt recovery and defence, commercial law and company law. Keith has a broad range of experience as a litigator and has been involved in numerous cases of insolvency, both corporate and personal, seeing first hand how the law is applied on a practical level.
