Course Overview

Developed in conjunction with CPA Ireland Skillnet and Bob Semple, the CPA Ireland Leadership programme takes you on a journey of personal and professional transformation which will generate meaningful and tangible value for you and your business or organisation. 

The term Leadership describes a quality that instils confidence and inspires others to reach their potential best. Each one of us has a unique leadership personality with distinctive characteristics, values, strengths, motivation and desires. Over the course of this programme, participants will embark on a journey of self-discovery to identify, appreciate and develop their personal and authentic leadership best.

Commencing on the 10th December 2018, there will be 5 one-day sessions (including one experiential session) delivered over a four-month period, which will provide the backbone of the Programme.

Module 2:

Module 3:
Positive Leadership
  • Elements of life and work satisfaction
  • Positive communication and constructive relationships
  • Performance management; Diversity and Organisational Behaviour
Module 4:
Leadership in Action:
Cooking Up a Storm
  • Leadership in a practical setting
  • Planning and negotiating
  • Resilience and feedback 
Module 5:
Leadership in Action: Getting Results, Learning from Experience 
  • Planning and delivering impactful presentations 
  • Delivering winning feedback
  • Programme summary and wrap up


Delegates will be required to complete a Personal Action Plan, a Gratitude Diary and a Reflective Learning Journal.  Delegates will have to complete all parts of the programme and attend at least 4 of the 5 face to face sessions in order to receive the certificate of successful completion.

Bob Semple is an experienced business professional with 40 years’ experience both in public accounting practice (where he was a partner with PwC) and as a Board Director. 

Jane Perry

Jane Perry is an organisational Psychologist, Leadership Coach and Consultant. She coaches leaders, managers and groups to connect with their best and channel this 'best' towards successful and meaningful outcomes

Stephen J. Costello
