Patricia Quigley - Quigley Tax Consulting

Patricia Quigley set up Quigley Tax Consulting in 2009. She has over 25 years experience working in taxation.

She started her working life with the Revenue Commissioners where she spent time in both VAT and PAYE Districts. She was employed in both large and small accounting firms since leaving Revenue and was a tax manager in KPMG for 10 years up to 2009. Patricia specialises in giving tax advice on personal tax issues and she has particular experience in advising on tax and social security issues for individuals and employers. She has worked with Irish and multinational companies on employee tax issues including residence and domicile, Revenue Audits, executive remuneration, redundancies and payroll taxes. She advises on capital gains tax and capital acquisitions tax matters including planning for retirement, claiming business and agricultural reliefs and dealing with taxes arising on death.

She is an Associate of the Irish Taxation Institute (AITI) and a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA). Patricia is a member of a number of business networking groups and is also involved in tax education.

Paul Gosal is the principal of Paul Gosal Tax Advisory a specialist tax firm providing personal, corporate and capital tax consultancy and compliance services to a broad range of individual and corporate clients with business interests in Ireland and abroad. Paul is an experienced and well regarded AITI-Chartered Tax Adviser and Chartered Accountant with 15 years’ experience as a tax practitioner. His areas of expertise include tax efficient Succession Planning and Corporate/Business restructurings including personal retirement planning and tax efficient cash extraction. Paul has developed a keen interest in tax planning and compliance for internationally mobile individuals including non-residents, expatriates and non-domiciled individuals.

He is an Associate of the Irish Taxation Institute (of which he also represents members in Cork and Kerry as Chair of the South West Network) and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. Paul is a taxation lecturer for the past 10 years in Cork Institute of Technology and regularly presents on taxation matters for the Certified Public Accountants and Irish Taxation Institute.

James Bradley BComm ACCA  AITI

James has been lecturing in Tax and Accounting for Griffith College in Cork and Dublin for 6 years.  He also lectures for UCC, Chartered Accountants Ireland and the Irish Tax Institute. In addition James runs his own small Tax/Accountancy practice in Cork.

James will deliver the following module:

  • Tax Issues of Employment Income
  • Advanced Income Tax

David Clancy - Managing Director, Clancy & Associates

David is an experienced tax professional having particular expertise in the areas of income tax, capital gains tax, capital acquisitions tax and personal financial planning.

He is a member of the Irish Tax Institute, has lectured extensively for the Irish Tax Institute and other professional bodies and he is a regular contributor to tax seminars and articles.

David started his own company in 1998. The business has grown successfully and has been based on very hard work and wonderful colleagues and clients.

David will deliver the following module:

Gary O'Mahony (BCL, FAC, AITI) - O'Hara Dolan & Co Tax Advisers

Gary is a law graduate from University College Cork and also spent a year in Dublin City University doing a post-graduate diploma conversion course in accountancy. He trained in Arthur Andersen, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1994 and as a tax professional in 1995. Previously a tax director with Ernst & Young, he joined Kieran Ryan & Co in 2004 as a tax partner and now heads up the tax department, dealing daily with many tax and commercial issues across a varied client portfolio:
