Practice & Audit Orientation Online Certificates
The CPA Ireland Skillnet Practice and Audit Orientation Online Certificates offers you the flexibility to complete the courses at a time and a location that suits you. The online courses offer a blended learning style of webinars, reading materials and activities to engage the user throughout.
All applicants for a CPA practising certificate are required to have completed the Practice Orientation Online Certificate and to have successfully passed the associated assessment.
Online Diploma in Governance for the Charitable Sector
This diploma will equip accounting professionals who advise charities (either as practitioners, in-house accountants, or voluntary treasurers) with a full understanding of best practice in Corporate Governance for Charities.
Participants can choose to complete an assignment to gain the diploma or complete the course for information / CPD purposes only (no assignment).
Certified Tax Adviser (CTax)
The Certified Tax Adviser (CTax) course, which was funded by CPA Ireland Skillnet, offers a unique and exciting higher level qualification in Tax for accounting and legal professionals. The designation of Certified Tax Adviser (CTax) is awarded on successful completion of the Special Purpose Certificate in Advanced Taxation Planning and Advice. This QQI validated programme is placed at Level 8 on Ireland’s National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) and consists of 15 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credits and is in line with European higher education standards.
US GAAP Diploma
The US GAAP Diploma will give participants a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of US GAAP. At the moment there is a shortage of Accountants with knowledge of US GAAP in Ireland and it has been identified as a barrier to employment by many CPA members who find it listed as a requirement in job descriptions.
FRS 102 Online
There is an urgent need for accountants who use UK & Irish GAAP to get to grips with the new financial reporting standard FRS 102, which replaced UK & Irish GAAP for accounting periods commencing on or after 1st January 2015.
CPA Ireland presents the FRS 102 Online Course which was developed by CPA Ireland Skillnet to equip accounting professionals with a full understanding of and a capacity to apply the new standards.
Diploma in IFRS (Online)
CPA Ireland is delighted to launch its online Diploma in IFRS with the IFRSacademy.net, providing participants with an in-depth knowledge of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). With 70 CPD hours of fully interactive online study, together with exercises, scenarios, action plans and self-study assignments make the CPA Diploma in IFRS Financial Reporting the most engaging and learner friendly programme available.
